Fabric Images is comprised of three studios – Fi Interiors, Fi Live Events and Fi Retail – each focused on the unique needs of the markets they serve.

Currently, we have an exciting opportunity to bring onboard a visionary Regional Account Manager (RAM). Are you someone who is proactive, forward thinking, persuasive, self-confident, with the ability to make comfortable risk decisions, who communicates factually and with presence? We are looking for a dedicated individual that will contribute to the growth of our Fabric Images brand and be a part of our extraordinary team.

The RAM will support new sales conversion growth with Multi-Line Rep Groups (MLR)/Dealer Sales entities (DLR), will be responsible for training MLRs/DLRs and proactively monitoring sales leads to the MLR group to achieve strong performance results. Attention to detail to ensure analysis for effective follow-up is essential. This individual should love design and have experience working with architects and designers, demonstrating a structured mindset. A high-energy person that enjoys being out in front of people will excel in this role.

In addition, the RAM will quantify leads and effectively distribute them to the field for effective sales activities. A full understanding of local competitors, dealer representatives and Architecture and Design (A&D) leaders will enable higher success in converting new sales.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: % Time

  • Effectively manage and coordinate the development/distribution of large projects leads in collaboration with MLR Groups 10%
  • Analyze, quantify, and record large opportunities for effective forecasting and funnel tracking and management 10%
  • Direct and team selling to end users, A & D. Attend industry events in person 30%
  • Field sales support for regional MLR groups to increase sales, improve client relationships and provide personal face-to-face training and mentoring 50%
  • Minimum work experience: Bachelor’s degree or 5 years work experience in this field
  • This role requires discretion, creative thinking, and independent judgment.

Detailed Job Duties/Expectations

1. Work with each MLR to increase sales and improve brand awareness in MLR territory

2. Identify key targets by territory/vertical market focus, to recruit new partners and revenue streams

3. Build and execute a sales plan that includes specific product strategies to increase sales through an Office Furniture Dealer network

4. Assign team(s) to work with A&D firms to ensure our brand products and solutions are specified

5. Be a brand ambassador. Actively engage in local trade associations such as AIA (The American Institute of Architects) and IIDA (International Interior Design Association) and vertical market events

6. Participate as needed in national trade shows and events

7. Present to A&D firms, Office Furniture Dealers, General Contractors, and End Clients. Leverage Sales tools and ensure DLR groups are current and complete.

8. Report and collect data to identify trends and new product opportunities

9. Achieve all KPIs established:

Sales vs Forecasted Sales, Opportunities, Close-Ratio, Customer Retention, New Business Development, Presentations, Social Media participation, Email open rates, Sample requests

Essential Skills Required:

  • Sales Mentorship Background – Documented ability to train/mentor sales teams. Set sales performance benchmarks and manage to expectations on a regular basis. Implement performance improvement plans and initiatives as needed
  • Conduct site meetings on a weekly basis. Utilize virtual sessions as needed
  • Organizational Skills - Effective time management and the ability to prioritize and focus to meet critical deadlines is essential
  • Interpersonal / Communication skills – Heavy reliance on verbal and written communication essential for success. Strong presentation skills and ability to collaborate for effective team selling
  • Training – Mentoring -ability to transfer knowledge for sales growth and market penetration to include effective use of sales and marketing tools
  • Computer Literacy – proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Word/Excel/Power Point/Outlook.. A strong working understanding of EXCEL is required
  • Strong Analytical Skills – ability to analyze data for the effective quantification of leads and project opportunities. Effectively identify trends to assist in growth projections/expectations
  • History of successfully working with A&D community is highly desired
